• Split Bills with AI: Simply snap a photo of a restaurant receipt, and Apple Intelligence can identify items, tax, and tips, helping friends split the bill directly through Apple Cash.

• Automatic Password Upgrades: Apple Intelligence can detect weak or compromised passwords and securely update them on supported websites.

• Smarter Messages: Messages will suggest actions like creating reminders, sharing relevant photos, or adding events to your calendar with a single tap.

• Call Context: When contacting customer support, your iPhone can automatically surface details such as booking numbers or confirmation codes from Mail.

• Natural Language Calendar Events: Users can create or modify events just by describing them, without manually filling out calendar fields.

• AI-Powered Shortcuts: Simply describe what you want your iPhone to do, and Shortcuts can build automations without requiring technical setup.

• Less Smart Home Spam: Apple Intelligence groups related Home notifications together, reducing unnecessary alerts.

• Safari Tab Organization: Safari can now automatically organize open tabs into categories like travel, shopping, or work projects.

Personal Take: Apple's approach to AI feels different from most competitors. Rather than focusing solely on chatbots, Apple is embedding AI into existing apps and workflows. These may seem like small upgrades individually, but together they could make the iPhone feel noticeably smarter and more useful every day.

Claude Can Now Work Directly Inside Jira

Atlassian just launched Claude Agent for Jira. and it changes how engineering teams ship.

You can now assign a Jira ticket directly to Claude. it codes the work and hands you back a pull request.

here's the stat that proves why this matters:
→ a study across 400 engineering orgs found that even with AI doing 90% of coding tasks, productivity only climbed 10-15%.

the bottleneck was never the model. it was everything around it. copying context into chat. setting up branches. turning tickets into specs the AI can read.

now the work item IS the spec.
→ assign a Jira ticket to Claude from the assignee dropdown, like a teammate

→ it clones the repo, codes in a secure sandbox, and opens a draft PR
→ you review and merge

Tutorial: Claude + Canva for Carousels & Infographics

Step 1: Set Up:
- Go to Claude Dashboard and Click Customise
- Select Add Connectors and Search for Canva Connector and hit Connect.

Step 2: Open Claude and Describe your idea
Example: "Design a cinematic infographic of a futuristic space rocket. Giant vertical composition showing exploded engineering layers, launch sequence timeline, fuel systems, orbit stages, altitude visualization, floating technical callouts, dark cosmic environment, premium UI overlays, luxury scientific storytelling, impossible detail, editorial masterpiece --ar 4:5 using canva"

Claude will create beautiful infographics or carousels for you in minutes.

Step 3: You can ask Claude to edit your design or open in Canva in just one click.

💡 Pro Tip: Ask Claude to write content slide-by-slide with design suggestions like:

"Use a dark background, neon accents, and minimal icons." This makes designing in Canva much faster.
