Anthropic didn't plan to announce this. A data leak exposed an unpublished blog post revealing they've been quietly building a new AI model called Claude Mythos and it's described as the most capable model they've ever made. The company has since confirmed it's real.
The model goes by two names internally "Claude Mythos" and "Claude Capybara." Both appear to refer to the same thing.
It sits in a brand new tier above Opus their current most powerful model meaning it's bigger, smarter, and more expensive to run.
Anthropic says it scores dramatically higher than Claude Opus 4.6 on coding, academic reasoning, and cybersecurity tasks.
The company describes it as a "step change" not just an incremental update, but a meaningful jump in what AI can do.
It's currently being tested with a small group of early access customers and is not yet ready for general release.
The leak happened because Anthropic's content management system makes files public by default nearly 3,000 unpublished assets were accidentally exposed.
Cybersecurity researchers at LayerX Security and the University of Cambridge were among those who discovered the leak.
⚠️ The Cybersecurity Concern: Anthropic's own draft blog described the model as "currently far ahead of any other AI model in cyber capabilities" and warned it could help hackers run large-scale attacks faster than defenders can respond. Because of this, they plan to release it first to cybersecurity organisations so defenders get a head start.
Personal Take: The leak itself is a bit embarrassing for a company that handles sensitive AI research but what it revealed is genuinely significant. A model powerful enough that Anthropic is nervous about its own cybersecurity implications is a big deal. The fact they're being cautious about the rollout is actually a good sign. The race between AI capabilities and AI safety is getting tighter.

Google has launched Gemini 3.1 Flash Live a new AI model built specifically for real-time voice and video conversations. The goal is simple: make talking to an AI feel as natural as talking to a person. No awkward pauses, no robotic tone, no lag. Just a conversation.
It works speech-to-speech meaning there's no text processing happening in the middle. The AI hears you and responds directly, which is why it feels so much faster and more natural.

Go to Gemini (https://gemini.google) and log in to your account.
Open Settings and look for the new Import / Memory option.
Click on Import Memories to start transferring your preferences.
Gemini will give you a prompt to copy paste this into your current AI app (like ChatGPT).
Your previous AI will generate a summary of your preferences, habits, and context.
Copy that summary and paste it back into Gemini.
Gemini will analyze and save this as your personal memory, so it understands you better from the start.
Import Your Chat History
Export your chat history from your current AI tool (usually as a ZIP file).
Upload the ZIP file inside Gemini’s chat import section.
Gemini will process your chats so you can search and continue past conversations.
