Anthropic just overhauled its privacy policy, asking users to share their chats for AI training or actively opt out. This new move brings big implications for privacy, consent, and the broader battle for AI dominance.
Anthropic now wants to collect and use chats from all Claude consumer users for model training.
If users do not actively opt out by September 28, their data will be used and kept for five years.
This policy doesn’t affect business and enterprise customers, only individuals using Claude Free, Pro, Max, or Claude Code.
The opt-out option is easy to miss hidden below the “Accept” button and defaulted to “On.”
Anthropic says training on real chat data will make their AI safer and smarter, helping detect harmful content and boost performance.
The change echoes broader industry trends, with OpenAI and others facing similar pressures and legal battles on data retention.
Privacy experts warn real user consent is elusive with such complex, quickly-changing policies.
User data is becoming currency in the AI arms race, raising urgent new privacy questions.
Personal Take: The lines between choice and default are blurring in AI. As tech giants hunger for data, the future demands sharper consent tools and users who pay attention before clicking “Accept.” This is the social media data collection problem all over again.
Typing is a thing of the past.
Typeless turns your raw, unfiltered voice into beautifully polished writing - in real time.
It works like magic, feels like cheating, and allows your thoughts to flow more freely than ever before.
Your voice is your strength. Typeless turns it into a superpower.
Nvidia Smashes Records in AI Gold Rush
Nvidia posts historic revenue numbers as the AI industry's hunger for GPUs hits new highs. The company's latest surge reveals how essential their tech has become to global AI growth.
Nvidia’s Q2 2025 revenue hit $46.7B, up 56% year-over-year—a massive leap
Net income soared 59% to $26.4B, reflecting high-margin AI chip demand
Data center sales were the main engine: $41.1B driven by next-gen Blackwell chips
Blackwell alone generated $27B, becoming the starring platform of the AI era
CEO Jensen Huang forecasts $3–4 trillion in AI infra spending by 2030
Nvidia enabled OpenAI’s latest open-source models, running huge workloads with Blackwell
U.S.-China chip trade tensions remain: No Q2 H20 chip sales to China amid unclear regulations
Nvidia expects its Q3 revenue to reach $54B, even without China chip shipments
Nvidia’s AI grip only tightens with every quarter, as rivals and partners alike fuel the arms race.
My Take: If the last year is any signal, AI will only accelerate, and Nvidia sits at the heart, shaping not just tech, but entire economies. The future looks like a world built atop silicon ambitions and limitless machine intelligence.
How 433 Investors Unlocked 400X Return Potential
Institutional investors back startups to unlock outsized returns. Regular investors have to wait. But not anymore. Thanks to regulatory updates, some companies are doing things differently.
Take Revolut. In 2016, 433 regular people invested an average of $2,730. Today? They got a 400X buyout offer from the company, as Revolut’s valuation increased 89,900% in the same timeframe.
Founded by a former Zillow exec, Pacaso’s co-ownership tech reshapes the $1.3T vacation home market. They’ve earned $110M+ in gross profit to date, including 41% YoY growth in 2024 alone. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.
The same institutional investors behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay backed Pacaso. And you can join them. But not for long. Pacaso’s investment opportunity ends September 18.
Paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals.

Quick AI News Bites
Tencent has launched a new AI called Hunyuan Video-Foley that brings lifelike audio to AI-generated videos, making the sounds in videos perfectly match the action on screen.
A report from Zopa and Juniper Research shows AI is shaking up banking by making back-office work much faster, but it could cut over 27,000 finance jobs in the UK by 2030. While AI can save banks a lot of money and automate tasks like fraud checks, many workers will need to find new roles focused on managing the AI itself.
Perplexity has rolled out its Comet Plus subscription with a $42.5 million fund to share revenue with news publishers when their content is featured in the Comet browser’s AI search results. This aims to set a new standard in compensating publishers as AI search becomes more popular.
Anthropic has released a research preview of a Claude AI agent for Chrome that can chat with you in your browser and even take actions with permission, similar to Perplexity Comet and upcoming tools from Google and OpenAI.
Google Translate now offers language learning tools aimed at competing with Duolingo, letting users practice listening and speaking skills with customized lessons. New features also allow real-time conversations in more than 70 languages.
