Canva Launches Canva Code 2.0 to all users
Canva has officially launched Canva Code 2.0, making it possible for anyone to build websites, apps, landing pages, and interactive experiences using simple text prompts, no coding required.
Describe what you want in plain English, and Canva generates a fully functional website or app.
Unlike traditional AI coding tools, you can customize colors, fonts, images, and layouts using Canva's drag-and-drop editor.
Bring projects from other AI tools or HTML files into Canva and continue editing them visually.
Start faster with interactive templates for websites, apps, games, dashboards, forms, and more.
Canva says code generation is now 75% faster, with 30% quicker prompt-to-publish times.
Teams can co-edit, comment, review, and publish websites together directly inside Canva.
Canva Code 2.0 is now available for Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Education users.
Personal Take: Canva is making AI coding far more approachable by combining prompt-based app creation with its familiar visual editor. For creators, marketers, educators, and small businesses, it removes much of the technical complexity while keeping full creative control.
ChatGPT gives you generic answers because you give it generic prompts.
You know the fix: longer prompts, more context, clearer constraints. But typing all that takes five minutes per prompt, so you shortcut it. Every time.
Wispr Flow lets you speak your prompts instead of typing them. Talk through your thinking naturally — include context, constraints, examples — and get clean text ready to paste. No filler words. No cleanup.
Works inside ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and every other AI tool. System-level, so there's nothing to install per app. Tap and talk.
Millions of users worldwide. Teams at OpenAI, Vercel, and Clay use Flow daily. Free on Mac, Windows, and iPhone.
Apple recently filed a trade secrets lawsuit against OpenAI, accusing the company of a pattern of misconduct aimed at getting current and former Apple employees to hand over confidential information. OpenAI has pushed back, saying it's "not aware of any evidence that this complaint has merit."
Potential impact on OpenAI's hardware plans:
OpenAI is reportedly building its first consumer hardware product, a screen-free smart speaker designed as a home AI companion with a phone-like device rumored for around 2028.
Apple's lawsuit doesn't pull punches it describes OpenAI's hardware business as resting on shaky ground because of its alleged dependence on stolen trade secrets.
Apple wants monetary damages plus a court order forcing OpenAI to stop the alleged conduct and destroy any proprietary materials and if a judge grants that injunction, OpenAI could be blocked from selling the device altogether until the case is resolved.
Timing is awkward: It lands as OpenAI has confidentially filed S-1 paperwork for a potential IPO and litigation risk like this tends to draw scrutiny during that process.
Apple hasn't said whether the suit will affect its existing Siri/Apple Intelligence partnership with OpenAI.
Personal Take: It's early, this is a fresh lawsuit, not a ruling. Real effects are delayed launches, forced redesigns or nothing at all, it depends on discovery and how the case proceeds, which will likely take months.
Superhero Tools (Vibe Coding)
Codex: A powerful new interface designed to effortlessly manage multiple agents at once, run work in parallel, and collaborate with agents over long-running tasks.
