Crispy Bites: OpenAI has rolled out a 2 new features for ChatGPT that allows users to upload and analyze PDF files. This feature is currently in beta and is exclusively available for ChatGPT Plus members.
Key Features:
1. Multi-Document Support: One limitation of ChatGPT was its inability to upload various file formats, including PDFs. However, this limitation extends beyond just PDFs. Now, ChatGPT has been enhanced to handle a wide range of document types, including PDFs, data files, and graphs.
With this improvement, you can now get quick summaries, deep data insights, and generate dynamic graphs—all at your fingertips!
2. Multimodal Support: OpenAI has also introduced a multimodal support feature that can automatically select various modes like "Browse with Bing" and "Code Interpreter," making the user experience even more seamless.

It is important to understand which level is right for you and how levels at different companies compare against each other. Let’s take an example of Google and try to understand how this works.
Entry Level Engineer: L3 at Google is SWE II and will generally be good for people upto 3 years of experience.
Mid Level Engineer: L4 at Google is SWE III and generally requires minimum 3 years of experience and should go upto 6-7 years of experience.
Senior Engineer role: L5 at Google is Senior SWE and generally requires 7 plus years of experience and people having 15 years of experience also work as an L5.
Staff and Principal Engineer: This role is mostly 10 plus years of experience with proven record of impact and deep technical knowledge. You can apply for this role when you have 10+ years of experience.
Distinguished Engineer or Google Fellow: Rarely hired from outside and are people who have created high business products and have had major impact on how Google does things. One example is Kelsey Hightower and how he changed or shaped the future for Kubernetes. Another example at Amazon is James Gosling who created Java and creates new high value products for amazon.
