Quick Toasts: ChatGPT uses data from Grokipedia
Total read time: About 7 minutes, perfect for a quick Clawdbot break.

Developers are moving away from cloud interfaces toward assistants that live on their own local machines. The surge in interest for Clawdbot shows a shift toward autonomous tools with full system access.
Clawdbot functions as a self-hosted assistant running on local hardware such as a Mac Mini or Raspberry Pi.
The system archives every interaction in local Markdown files to maintain persistent memory across sessions.
It can run shell commands, manage system files, and control web browsers to automate multi-step digital workflows.
Built-in integrations allow the assistant to connect with fifty services like Gmail, Notion, and Spotify.
This agent can send messages or perform scheduled tasks using background cron jobs without user prompts.
The open-source architecture enables developers to build custom skills and share automation scripts with others.
Users can customize the personality and instructions of the agent to fit specific professional or personal needs.
True autonomy requires moving past the chat box and into the operating system and the local agents provide the privacy and control that hosted services often lack.
Personal Take: As for how this changes the way we work, I think it's going to make a big shift toward having a true personal AI that feels like an extension of yourself. Instead of switching between apps, tabs, and different AIs, you just message your Clawdbot from wherever you are, and it handles the grunt work, like research, automation, reminders, even coding little helpers. It could cut out a ton of repetitive tasks, let people focus on higher-level thinking, and make "AI agents" something everyday folks (well, the techy ones at least) can actually own and control privately without relying on big cloud companies.
Hiring in 8 countries shouldn't require 8 different processes
This guide from Deel breaks down how to build one global hiring system. You’ll learn about assessment frameworks that scale, how to do headcount planning across regions, and even intake processes that work everywhere. As HR pros know, hiring in one country is hard enough. So let this free global hiring guide give you the tools you need to avoid global hiring headaches.

Anthropic updated Claude to allow direct interaction with external software. Users no longer need to switch tabs to update project timelines or draft messages.
The update integrates third-party tools like Asana and Slack into the chat window.
Users can build project timelines or visualize diagrams without leaving the conversation.
The system displays a live preview of actions taken within connected applications.
Integration is powered by the open-source Model Context Protocol for seamless data exchange.
Available tools include Figma for design flows and Canva for presentation outlines.
The feature is currently live for users on Pro and Enterprise plans.
This turns the chatbot into a central hub for professional workflows. We are moving toward a future where a single command line manages all software. The specific application will matter less than the assistant's ability to manipulate its data from a central interface.
Personal Take: Some are saying Anthropic is totally lapping OpenAI now, calling it a massive productivity boost and way more useful than other agent stuff out there. Others are hyped that it's native integrations solving actual workflow headaches, not just some local script runner. Only time will tell.

In a striking signal of where artificial intelligence is headed next, startup Humans& has raised a massive $480 million seed round to build what it calls a “central nervous system” for human-AI collaboration. Founded by alumni from Anthropic, Meta, OpenAI, xAI, and Google DeepMind, the company is targeting how people make decisions together, resolve conflicts and stay aligned over time.
Humans& is developing a new class of social intelligence systems designed to orchestrate teams, track long-running decisions and manage competing priorities.
It’s a shift away from AI as a smart assistant and toward AI as a true collaboration layer.
The team plans to train its model using long-horizon and multi-agent reinforcement learning, enabling it to plan across extended timelines and operate in environments where many humans and AIs interact simultaneously.
The goal is persistent memory, contextual awareness and behavior that feels closer to working with a thoughtful colleague than a prompt-response machine.
Notably, Humans& is co-designing its product and model at the same time, aiming to “own the collaboration layer” rather than plug into existing tools like Slack or Notion.
If successful, the platform could reshape how organizations coordinate work at scale, from small teams to massive enterprises.
Personal Take: This feels like a real inflection point. AI already knows how to think, now it’s learning how to organize humans. If Humans& pulls this off, coordination itself becomes programmable and that’s a far bigger unlock than faster chatbots. The $480M bet makes sense: whoever cracks social intelligence in AI won’t just build a product they’ll redefine how teams operate in the age of machines.

How to set up your own Clawdbot

Clawdbot is renamed to Moltbot
You can either install Clawdbot on your own personal device, or you can use a Mac mini, like everyone on X does, to ensure your files and other important stuff stay safe. To get started
Visit the official website at clawd.bot to familiarize yourself with the platform and find the latest documentation.
Ensure your computer has Node.js (version 22 or higher) installed. You can check this by typing node --version in your terminal or command prompt.
Open your terminal and run the command: curl -fsSL https://clawd.bot/install.sh | bash. This will download and install the Clawdbot CLI on your system.
Start the interactive setup process by running: clawdbot onboard --install-daemon.
Choose "Local" when the wizard asks for the gateway mode if you are running it on your own computer.
Provide your AI model credentials when prompted. If you are using Claude, you will need an API key from Anthropic; if you don't have one, you can get it at console.anthropic.com.
Select your preferred messaging channel (Telegram is recommended for the simplest first-time setup).
If you choose Telegram, open the Telegram app on your phone, search for @BotFather, and send the message /newbot to create your bot. Copy the API token provided and paste it back into the terminal wizard.
Link your messaging account by running: clawdbot channels login. If you chose WhatsApp, scan the QR code that appears in your terminal using the "Linked Devices" feature in your WhatsApp mobile app.
Verify the installation by running clawdbot status to ensure the gateway and your chosen channels are active.
Send a direct message to your new bot from your phone (e.g., "Hello") to begin interacting with your personal AI assistant.
