How to replace anyone or anything in a video

Pika just introduced a new feature: Pikaswaps. Replace anything in your videos using uploaded photos or described scenes.

Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide to using Pikaswaps:

  1. Visit the Website: Pika.art

  2. Choose the Effect: Click on the “Pikaswap effect” option.

  3. Upload Your Video: Make sure the video is at least 5 seconds long.

  4. Choose Your Swap: Upload a photo you want to insert into the video, or Enter a text prompt describing the object you want to add.

  5. Plan Your Swap: Ensure that you’re replacing the original object with something completely new. The new object should look different in many ways (color, style, appearance, etc.). Be creative!

  6. Generate the Swap: Click the “Generate” button and wait a few moments for the magic to happen.

  7. Review Your Video: Watch your video to see the seamless integration of the swap. If needed, try different images or prompts until you get your perfect result
