Gemini 2.5 Computer Use Model flow
Google DeepMind’s Gemini 2.5 Computer Use model is redefining how AI interacts with digital tasks beyond just APIs, it now natively clicks, types, and navigates like a human. Here’s what makes this launch a game-changer.
AI agent for UI: Gemini 2.5 Computer Use, built on Gemini 2.5 Pro’s visual skills, powers agents to complete real browser and app tasks, not just structured API calls.
Human-like interaction: It handles clicks, typing, dropdowns, and more, automating anything you’d do on a web or mobile interface.
API for developers: Available via Gemini API in Google AI Studio and Vertex AI; integrates computer-use functions directly into app workflows.
Performance edge: Outperforms leading models on multiple browser and mobile benchmarks with both speed and accuracy.
Safety focus: Built-in safety checks, confirmation requirements on risky actions, and developer safety controls to prevent misuse and errors.
Proven use-cases: Already used in agentic assistants, workflow automation, and Google's own internal tools like Project Mariner and UI testing.
Public preview: Ready for developers to try, tinker, and build with, fostering a new wave of powerful automation.
Gemini 2.5 Computer Use is a leap towards seamless, agent-driven automation across the digital world.
Personal Take: As interfaces blur between humans and AI, the Gemini model might make “intelligent digital coworkers” mainstream. The future seems less about coding tasks and more about orchestrating outcomes, where your next productivity hack might just be an AI that clicks and types for you.

Using Claude in Slack
A step-by-step for getting started with Claude in Slack, even if you’ve never used AI assistants there before.
Install and Connect Claude in Slack via App Marketplace (can be done only by admin)
Click Connect Account, select your company/org when prompted, then Authorize. A confirmation lets you know it’s ready.
Ways to Use Claude in Slack
Search for "@Claude" or find Claude in your app sidebar. Open a DM and type your question or request, like document summarizing, idea brainstorming, or asking for a report. Press Enter to send.
Click the Claude icon in the header bar (usually upper right in Slack). The Claude panel opens on the right. Type your query and press Enter. The panel shows responses and keeps a history, which you can access via the "clock" icon.
In any channel or thread, type "@Claude" and your question. This works for getting context-aware answers, drafting replies, or document analysis. Claude drafts its response privately for you. You can review, edit, or regenerate before posting to the thread. Click "Post to thread" when ready. Claude references recent Slack messages (the last 20 in a channel or the last 50 in a thread plus any shared files), so you get high-context answers.
Full Slack + Claude Connection for Deep Work
